The Southern State Livestock and Rural Enforcment Association was formed for the futherance of education and investigative techniques the area of agricultural crimes. Therefore, it is the goal of the organization to provide a professional level of training and the exchange of information relevant but not limited to agricultural crimes, terrorism, and homeland security.
The membership is made up of State, Federal and Local Law enforcement officers. These officers are some of the most diversified officers in the Nation. They specialize in Agriculture Crimes, Wildfire Arson, Rural Law Enforcement and Animal Disease. These Officers formed this organization and maintain it for the training and to know counterparts and experts in other states and agencies that can assist with these varied types of criminal activity.
